Petrol and diesel engines use different fuel systems, so fuel treatments are formulated for one or the other. Confirm your fuel type before anything else.
Check your fuel type
Your vehicle handbook, the fuel filler cap and your registration documents all confirm the fuel type. Hybrids still have a petrol or diesel combustion engine.
Match the treatment to the engine
Choose a petrol treatment for petrol engines and a diesel treatment for diesel engines. Never swap them.
Read the label
Follow the dosage and application directions on the bottle, and keep up your regular service schedule.
